Biography
(10.11.1968, Aksukent settlement, Sairam district, South Kazakhstan region) - dancer, choreographer. Honored Figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2006), Holder of the "Kurmet" Order (2022).
She graduated from Almaty Choreographic School (1987), teachers: G.N. Beisenova, A.T. Alisheva, T.P. Parpibayeva; Abay KazNPU (1997).
She worked in the "Altynay" State Folk Dance Ensemble at Suyumbay Almaty regional philharmonic (1987-1999). She is the organizer, chief choreographer and artistic director of the "Naz" dance ensemble, which was created in the capital at the State Philharmonic (1999). In 2007 - the ensemble received the status of the State dance theater of Astana Akimat. K. Agimbayeva created a distinctive repertoire for her team, which included dance compositions filled with folk spirit, national aesthetics: “Sherniyaz”, “Konіl-Ashar”, “Zheldirme”, “Serpin”, “Eles”, “Zhastar bii”, “Ornek”, “Ak bayan”, “Koshkeruen”, “Zhappas”, “Zhenis bii” and performances "Tuygyndar", "Nurgisa".
She is the Laureate of the III Prize at the International Competition of Choreographers (RF, Novosibirsk, 2003). The team under her leadership represented the national dance culture in CIS and other foreign countries: Turkey, Laos, Vietnam, Nepal, India, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, China, France, Belgium, Holland, Korea.
Awards: medal "Kazakh khandygyna 550 zhyl" (2015), medal "KR Konstitusiyasina 20 zhyl" (2015), medal "KR Tauelsizdigine 25 zhyl" (2016), medal "Astana 20 zhyl" (2018), badge "Enbek danky" (2018).
