ANNA KARENINA

Biography

One-act ballet.

Composer- Rodion Shchedrin, choreography and staging - Bulat Ayukhanov.

The premiere took place in 2009. The ballet was created for the SADT RK, under the direction of Bulat Ayukhanov.

Characters and performers: Anna Karenina - Svetlana Kokshinova; Count Vronsky - Rinat Musin; Karenin - Sergei Tikhonov.

The plot is based on the fragments from L. N. Tolstoy's novel "Anna Karenina" selected by the choreographer. Namely, the lyric-dramatic line of the relations between Anna Karenina and Count Alexei Vronsky: acquaintance, explanation at the ball at Betsy Tverskaya, departure to Italy, Anna's tragic death.

Ballet in 2 acts based on the novel by L. N. Tolstoy to the music by P. I. Tchaikovsky.

Libretto, choreography and staging - Boris Eifman. Ballet master’s assistants - Olga Kalmykova, Oleg Paradnik. Scenography - Zinovy Margolin, costume designer - Vyacheslav Okunev, lighting designer - Alexei Donde.

The premiere took place on June 18-19, 2011 at the Abay SAOBT.

Characters and performers: Anna - Saule Rakhmedova, Kuralai Sarkytbayeva; Karenin - Dmitry Sushkov, Dauren Zhenis; Vronsky - Farkhad Buriyev, Azamat Askarov; Kitty - Ainur Abilgazina.

The performance reveals the psychological world of L.N. Tolstoy’s characters, amazing sensitivity and accuracy of reflection of the life of Russia. In the play "Anna Karenina" there is not only an immersion in the psychological world of the heroine, but also a real psychoerotic understanding of her personality.
