Biography
BAIZHUMANOVA Botagoz Zhanseitovna (09.02.1952, Lenger, South Kazakhstan region) - dancer. Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR (1980).
She graduated from Alma-Ata Choreographic School (1973), teachers: Sh. B. Zhienkulova, M. Z. Akhmediyeva, A. G.Gabitova, Zh. T. Tastanova. Upon graduation, she worked at the State Honored Song and Dance Ensemble of the Kazakh SSR as a soloist, where she worked until 1991. She took part in the international festivals in different countries, performed popular dances "Aizhankyz", "Kiizbasu", in which she masterfully demonstrated the beauty and unique plasticity of the Kazakh folk dance. B.Baizhumanova toured with concerts and visited 19 countries of the world in Europe, Asia, America, Africa, Japan, Korea, Arab countries, Ecuador, and participated in government concerts, union and republican events as part of the ensemble.
After retirement (1991) she was invited to T. Zhurgenov State Art Institute of Theater and Cinema as a choreographer and worked there until 2002. In 2002-2010 she worked at Zh. Aimautov Kazakh Music and Drama Theater (Pavlodar). Later she became engaged in pedagogical activity, is a senior lecturer at Pavlodar State University.
