Biography

(17.01.1950, Dzhambul) - ballet dancer, teacher, production ballet master. Honored Figure of Kazakhstan (2009).

1970 - graduated from the Almaty State Choreographic School, teacher A. G. Gabitova.

1975 - graduated from the Choreography department of the Moscow State Institute of Culture (part-time).

2004 - graduated from the Faculty of scenography of the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts, specialty "Set Designer".

2007 - the internship at the "La Scala" theater as a teacher-ballet master.

1970-1992 - ballet dancer of the Abay SAOBT, she has worked her way from corps de ballet to soloist.

1976-1978 - teacher of stage movement at the M.Yu. Lermontov Russian Drama Theatre.

1998-2002 - ballet master in the M. Auezov Kazakh State Academic Drama Theatre.

2002-2013 - ballet master and head of the troupe in K. Baiseitova NOBT.

2005-2006 - chief ballet master of the Theater of Musical Comedy (Karaganda).

2010-2013 - guest teacher of classical dance at the Rome National Academy of Dance.

2013-2023 - ballet master, teacher-tutor at the SOBT "Astana Opera".

She made a huge contribution to the formation and development of classical ballet in the new capital of Kazakhstan. As a teacher-tutor, she trained more than 30 Diploma winners and Laureates of various competitions and festivals, who became the leading soloists of the Ballet theaters in Kazakhstan and the world: G. Kurmangozhayeva, M. Basbayeva, A. Beketayeva, B. Zhamburchinova, Zh. Aubakirov, T. Gatauov and others.

She staged the ballets: "Giselle" by A. Adam (Karaganda Academic Theater of Musical Comedy, 2005); "Swan Lake" by P.Tchaikovsky ("Astana Opera", 2014); together with T. Nurkaliyev "La Bayadère" by L. Minkus (NOBT, 2006); “Polovtsian Dances” by A. Borodin (Yu. Grigorovich Ballet Theatre, Krasnodar, 2009); "Fountain of Bakhchisarai" by B. Asafyev (SOBT, 2015).

Jointly with T. Nurkaliyev, choreography for the operas: “Abay” by A. Zhubanov, L. Hamidi (SOBT, 2015); “Birjanve Sara” by M. Tulebayev (Samsun devlet opera ve balesi, Istanbul, 2014); "Alpamys" by E. Rakhmadiev (SOBT, 2021). Production of concert numbers in the K. Baiseitova NOBT: “Bishi kaiyn” by K. Kumisbekov (2003), “The breeze of my youth” by N. Tlendiyev (2005), “Swan” by F. Chopin (2008), “One story” by E. Hegarty (2008); "Fear of mood" by D. Ligeti (2009), "Akku" by N. Tlendiyev (2009); SOBT “Astana Opera”: “Russian Dance” by P. Tchaikovsky (2014), “Karlygash” by A. Zhubanov and L. Hamidi (2015); "Pavane" by G. Fauré (2023).

Awards: TURKSOY medal for the 100th anniversary of Mukan Tulebayev (2013); medal "Igilik abyroy dank".
