CENTRAL ASIAN FESTIVAL OF MODERN DANCE
Biography
The founders and organizers of the festival: PF "Center for Contemporary Choreography" - Flyura Mussina, Gulnara Adamova. Date and venue of the first event: December 5, 6, 7, 2006, Almaty. Theoretical seminar: "Modern dance yesterday and today", speaker - director of the Bremen Dance Film Institute H. M. Hertel (Germany). On December 15, the "Evening of Modern Choreography" took place.
The aim: popularization and development of modern dance in the Central Asian region. Video recording and creation of an archive of performances. Objectives: to stimulate the creation of new projects in the field of contemporary dance; provide a platform for demonstration and discussion; hold master classes, exhibitions and theoretical seminars on the history, theory and practice of contemporary dance.
Festival Director - Flyura Mussina; the art director of the festival is Gulnara Adamova. The festival was attended by the teams from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan; Tajikistan. The guests of the festival program are the troupes from the USA, Germany, France, Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania.
