Characters and performers: Swanhilda - Aigerim Beketayeva, Shugyla Adepkhan; Franz - Bakhtiyar Adamzhan, Arman Urazov; Coppelius - Luigio Bonino, Rustem Seitbekov.
Based on the concept of Hoffmann's immortal work, the choreographer focused the entire plot of the ballet on a love triangle: the desperate and jealous girl Swanhilda, her fiancé Franz and the puppet master Coppelius, who fell in love with a doll, whose role the choreographer composed for himself from the very beginning and danced this part almost to the age of 70 years. The action has been moved to a small French town without a name, where a corps de ballet in stylish costumes is dancing chardash and mazurka in an unusual style.
