Biography

One-act ballet.

Composer- Gaziza Zhubanova. Libretto, choreography and staging - Bulat Ayukhanov.

It premiered in 1987. The production was staged for the SECD under the direction of Bulat Ayukhanov.

Characters and performers: Grandmother - Sairagul Nursultanova, Granddaughter - Galiya Kokambayeva (Tlesbayeva).

There are two main acting characters in the ballet - Grandmother and Granddaughter. Grandmother is the personification of the past, and Granddaughter is the personification of the future.

And the present day is like a bridge between them with its fragility and inconstancy, just like grandmother's wisdom and Granddaughter's youth, and there is the eternity between them. So it was and so it will be, someone leaves this world, and someone is just beginning to live.
