DANCE ENSEMBLE OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ORCHESTRA OF THE STATE GUARD SERVICE OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

Biography

The Presidential Orchestra of the State Security Service of the RK was formed in 1992 to provide the musical part of the protocol, diplomatic, government and other festive events. The dance ensemble of the Presidential Orchestra of the Republican Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan was established in 1997, and later transformed into the dance ensemble of the Presidential Orchestra of the State Guard Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan based on the Resolution No. 814 dated May 4, 2014.

The first head of the dance ensemble of the Presidential Orchestra was a graduate of the N. K. Krupskaya St. Petersburg State Institute of Culture, Botagoz Sarina. In subsequent years, graduate of the Moscow Studio at the I. Moiseev SAFDE, Talant Shorukov; graduate of the M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University, Master of Art History, major Natalia Fokina. During the formation of the ensemble, the well-known choreographers were invited for the production: Honored figure of Kazakhstan Aigul Tati (dance "Sylkyldak"), Ezher Omin, Tazabike Saliyeva. The performers of the ensemble - Madina Alieva-Shorukova, Anastasia Voevodina often acted as production ballet masters.

The dance ensemble, being an integral part of the Presidential Orchestra, organically complemented the State-level concert events, festive concerts, official receptions and visits of the Heads of the States from around the world. Great importance in the repertoire of the ensemble was given to the careful preservation and development of national dance art, the choreographic heritage of the Kazakh dance. The repertoire was dominated by Kazakh dances and stylized choreography; there were also dances of other nations and modern jazz compositions. The dance ensemble has been on tour in many countries of the world: Great Britain, Bahrain, Russian Federation, Spain, Germany, Greece, China, France etc.

The dance ensemble as part of the Presidential Orchestra has repeatedly participated in the international military music festivals “Spasskaya Tower” in Moscow (from 2009 to 2019), “Amur Waves” in Khabarovsk, where it was awarded the Grand Prix, as well as international military music festivals "Berlin Tatoo" in Berlin (2017-2020), "Bremen Tattoo" in Bremen (2019-2020).

At the origins of the dance ensemble were the Laureates of the Sh. Zhienkulova Republican competition of Kazakh dance and dance soloists: A. Karataeva, K. Ryspekova, A. Topaeva, Sh. Sapargalikyzy, Sh. Kupamova, A. Doskaranova, N. Fokina. In subsequent years, the following performers contributed to the development of the ensemble: S. Artykova, A. Voevodina, A. Alibekova, Zh. Kasenova, Zh. Mukasheva, A. Sokolskaya, S. Rakhymberdieva, A. Akhmetkali, A. Kaliakparova, A. Mukanova, M. Aknazarova, D. Zhienbaeva and others.

In 2021, due to organizational and regular events, the dance ensemble of the Presidential Orchestra was abolished.
