DREAM OF MARGARITA

Biography

One-act ballet.

Composer - Igor Kornelyuk. Libretto - Gulnar Kamalova, based on Mikhail Bulgakov's novel “The Master and Margarita”. Choreography and staging - Gulnar Kamalova.

The premiere took place in 2016. The production was staged for the SADT RK under the direction of Bulat Ayukhanov.

Characters and performers: Margarita - Gulnar Kamalova, Master - Erik Ospanov, Woland - Erik Utepov.

The ballet tells about Master and Margarita who are in love, the coven of witches at Woland's ball and his charms. Margarita, in the struggle for love, sacrifices herself to save the Master.
