Biography
17.06.1967, Alma-Ata.
Ballet dancer, teacher-choreographer, ballet master.
1977-1985 – student of the Alma-Ata Choreographic School, teachers: L.I. Rafailova, A.G. Gabitova, F.A. Koygeldinova, G.B. Gorskaya; Diploma with honors.
1989-1994 – student of A. Lunacharsky State Institute of Theatre Arts (Moscow), specialty "Teacher-Choreographer in classical heritage" on the course of М. Т. Semenova. Diploma with honors.
1985-1989 – ballet dancer of the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. She was actively involved in the performances of the ballet and opera repertoire, performed small solo parts.
1991-1993 – teacher-choreographer of classical, folk-stage, historical and daily life dances at the A.V. Seleznev ACS.
The leading soloist of the AbayKazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre D. Esentayeva is among the students.
1993-1996 – lecturer at the Moscow Institute of Contemporary Art. During this period she worked as a guest artist in Moscow ballet companies.
1996-2005 – lecturer at the A.V. Seleznev ACS.
1996-1999 – teacher of the stage practice at the course of classical dance teacher I. Gulyaeva.
Among the students: prima ballerina of the Hungarian State Opera House A. Tanykpayeva; leading ballerinas of the Abay Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre D. Esentayeva, A. Egizbayeva; soloist of the State Academic Dance Theatre of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Usembayeva; graduate of Rissian State Institute of Theatre Arts, now teacher L. Pak (Great Britain); graduate of Rissian State Institute of Theatre Arts, now teacher of the School-College of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, holder of the Scholarship of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan- Leader of the Nation, E. Zhumadyarova.
1997-2005 – co-organizer of the studio, teacher-choreographer and performer of the Flamenco Escuela de Flamenco studio, winner of the Flamenco competition at the International Festival "Prize of Traditions" (Almaty, 2001) as part of a trio of dancers (D. Fadeyeva, G. Kapanova, G. Tlesbayeva).
1998-2005 – choreographer of the National team of Kazakhstan in synchronized swimming. Her programs were performed at the World Championships (Germany, Spain, Italy), the Asian Games in Bussan (South Korea, 2002), and the Olympic Games (Athens, 2004).
2004 – created the one-act ballet to the music of G. Mahler "The Triumph of Athena" in the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
In the same year, she accepted an invitation to teach at the Ballet Royale Institute of Maryland (USA). Since 2005 he has been living and working in the USA.
2006-2009 – joined the Manassas Ballet Theater troupe of the Manassas Ballet Theater (Manassas, Virginia), where she staged the Divertimento "Impression" to the music of the piano concerto A minor, opus 16 by E. Grieg and the choreographic miniature "Butterfly" to the music of F. Chopin for the Gala concert "A Spring Gala" (2007). She staged the ballets "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by F. Mendelssohn (2007), "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" by K. Hite (2007), "The Stars and Stripes Forever" by K. Hite (2008), "Carmen» by J. Bizet (2008), "Frankenstein" to the music of C. Reynolds (2008).
Since 2009 – production ballet master of the Virginia Ballet Company and School. Staged the ballets of classical heritage: "Swan Lake", "Sleeping Beauty", "La Sylphide", "Chopiniana", "Don Quixote", "Giselle", choreographic suite "Polovtsian Dances" from the opera "Prince Igor".
