AISHA BIBI FOLKLORE AND ETHNOGRAPHIC DANCE ENSEMBLE

Biography

The ensemble was created in 1997 in the SE "K. Azerbayev Zhambyl Regional Philharmonic”,Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Zhambul region. The creator and first leader of the team is the Honored figureof Kazakhstan Baidaulet Sazabekov (1997-2005). In 2005, sincethe leader moved to another city, the ensemble stopped its creative activity, and only in 2019 the ensemble renewed its activities. At various times, the leaders of the ensemble were A.N. Dzhusipova (2019), A.S. Konarbayeva (2020).

The ensemble's repertoire consists of Kazakh folk dances. Choreographers B. Sazabekov, M. Aitmaganbetova work closely with the team. The team demonstrated their art in Germany, France, Israel, Turkey, Crimea. In 2019, it took part in the Sheikh Zayed International Cultural Festival in Abu Dhabi (UAE).

Winner of the Grand Prix of the Festival "Shabyt" (2000); Diploma winner of the Republican online festival "Alem halyktarynyn bii", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2021, Semey). Winner of the Grand Prix of the television mega-project "Zheti Kazyna" on the TV channel "Khabar" (2022).
