GULDER STATE YOUTH VARIETYENSEMBLE
Biography
State Youth Variety Ensemble "Gulder" was organized in 1969 and included the graduates of the Republican Circus and Performing Arts Studio. Artistic director and organizer - People’s Artist of KazSSR Gulzhikhan Galiyeva, ballet master D. Kiyakova. The first concert program "Steppe tunes" was staged by director S. Eleusizov. The team consisted of pop singers, vocal and instrumental ensemble, traditional folk performers anddance troupe consisting of 9 girls. In subsequent years, the dance troupe was replenished with graduates of the studio and ACS.
Young talented performers began their creative activity in “Gulder”, and later became widely known, were awarded honorary and State awards: People's Artists of Kazakhstan S. Tynyshtygulova, G. Talpakova, K. Baibosynov, R. Rymbayeva, M. Zhunusova; Honored Artists of Kazakhstan K. Kulysheva, K. Rakhimova, R. and B. Zhumagulovs and others. The concert programs “Golden Dombra”, “Kazakh Patterns”, “Gulder's Rhythms”, “Flourish, Kazakhstan” etc., had great success with the audience. The ensemble is the Laureate of the XI World Festival of Youth and Students (Havana, 1979).
The ensemble toured extensively throughout the Soviet Union and abroad, introducing the Kazakh culture and artto the audience. The team was distinguished byinteresting and varied repertoire, stylish costumes, manner of performance, and scenography was developed for each program. The repertoire of the dance troupe included Kazakh dances in the variety style and dances of the world's peoples. Choreographer D. Kiyakova made a great contribution to the creation and development of the repertoire. In the 80s, the dance troupe consisted of 24 girls.
On March 1, 2023, the "Gulder" State Youth Variety Ensemble presented a presentation-concert of a new line-up, in which talented graduates of creative educational institutions were invited. Chief ballet master of the ensemble - Anvara Sadykova.
