Biography
(15.01.1900, Ak-Mechet (now Kyzylorda) - 09.11.1959, Tashkent) - dancer, choreographer. Honored Artist of Uzbekistan (1944) and Karakalpakstan (1954).
1923-1925 - student of the Tashkent ballet studio.
Since 1919 - actor, director, singer, musician of the Drama and Musical theaters in Tashkent.
1930 - organizer of the ethnographic song and dance ensemble "Mountain Eagles".
1933-1934 - ballet master of the Kazakh Music Studio at the Abay Kazakh Opera and Ballet Theatre. He staged the Kazakh folk dances "Karazhorga", "Koyan-bi", "Kelinshek", "Sokyr teke", "Aksuiyek" etc. in the musical performances "Aiman-Sholpan", "Shuga" by Y. Brusilovsky.
1934 - the first artistic director of the Uighur theater that opened in Alma-Ata, where he staged national dances in the musical performance "Anarkhan".
1935-1938 - was invited as a director of the concert numbers of Shara Zhienkulova and the dance group of the Kazakh Philharmonic.
1943-1945 - organized dance studios in Karakalpakstan, staged dances in performances. In subsequent years, he worked as a guest choreographer-producer in the theaters and ensembles in Tashkent, Samarkand, Namangan, Andijan.
Ardobus made a huge contribution to the formation of the national Kazakh ballet art and education of the first generation of dancers, whom he instilled stage culture, purity and performance technique.
