ALPIYEV Alibek Toleubekovich
Biography
(10.06.1981, Alma-Ata) – composer, pianist.
He gained professional education at the Central Music School (Moscow), the Hannover Higher School of Music and Theater (German Conservatory, class of professor V. Krainev), and the Chicago College of Performing Arts. During his studies, he gave concerts as a pianist in the cities of Europe and America. Upon graduation, he began his professional career as a sound director and composer (since 2004). In 2015 he received a certificate on sound engineering from the Audio Engine studio (New York, USA).
In collaboration with H. Shangaliyev, he is the composer of the ballet performance “Sultan Baybars” (choreography by M. Avakhri) at the “Astana Ballet” Theater (2020).
Awards: Laureate of the V. Krainev Youth Piano Competition (Kharkov, Ukraine, 1992); Winner of the I Prize at the competition of young performers “Shabyt” (Astana); Laureate of the I Prize at the I International Piano Competition (Almaty).
