Biography

Ballet dancer, ballet master, teacher. Doctor of Art History of the European University (International Academy of Sciences, Moscow), PhD.
Laureate of the World Festival of Youth and Students (Berlin, 1973; Moscow, 1985), Laureate of the International Dance Competition "Karagyoz" (Turkey, 1990), Diploma Winner of the I All-Union Variety Dance Competition.
She graduated from the Almaty Choreographic School (1959-1968), teachers: M.N. Shatlovsky, R.M. Elchibekova, A.G. Gabitova, Zh.T. Tastanova, M.Z. Akhmediyeva, R.M. Kurpesheva, K.M. Zhakipova, S.A. Nauryzbayeva, G.H. Urmanova; S.M. Kirov KazSU, on specialty "Russian language, literature" (1970-1977); the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Leningrad State Conservatory on specialty "Ballet Directing", qualification "Ballet Master-Choreographer" (1980-1985), teachers: P.A. Gusev, G.D. Aleksidze.
1968-1970 - ballet dancer of the Abay SAOBT; 1970-1977 - soloist of the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the KazSSR; 1977-1980 - Senior lecturer at the Kurmangazy Almaty State Conservatory, during this period she had an internship at the higher theater educational institutions of Moscow (the MHAT School, the B.V. Shchukin Theater School, the M. S. Shchepkin Theater School), taught an experimental course on Kazakh dance for future actors under the guidance of O.V. Vsevolodsky-Golushkevich.
1985-1986 - chief ballet master of the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Kazakh SSR, a dance suite “Kusbegi dauylpaz” to the music by S. Mukhamedzhanov was staged here. 1985-1990 - chief ballet master and Party organizer of the Kazakhconcert. In 1988 she taught a Kazakh dance course at the Marcel Marceau International School of Mimic Drama (France, Paris).
1990-1994 - chief ballet master of the Abay SAOBT, together with G.A. Aleksidze worked on the creation of the ballet "Karakoz" by G.A. Zhubanova. As the author of the choreography and libretto, she staged the ballets: “The Love Sorcerer” by M. De Falla, “Magic Lake” by P.I. Tchaikovsky. She staged dances in children's operas: "The Snow Queen", "Magic Music", "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", as well as the dances in the theatre's opera repertoire: "Rigoletto" by G. Verdi (1993), "The Freeshooter" by M. von Weber, "Kamar Sulu" by E.R. Rakhmadiyev, "Alpamys" by E.R. Rakhmadiyev etc.
1994-2006 - Senior lecturer, Head of the Department of General Disciplines of the Choreographic Faculty (HSC); 2006-2007 - Artistic director of the A.V. Seleznev ACS, the graduates of which traveled under her leadership to Seoul (South Korea) with a concert program (2007). She prepared two graduate courses of ballet masters at the T.K. Zhurgenov KazNAA (2005, 2006). 2015 - teacher of choreographic disciplines in the Abay KazNPU, Faculty of "Musical education and choreography". Since 2006 - editor-in-chief of the magazine "Kazakhstan ballet alemi". Member of the UNESCO RK.
She is the director of the International competition "Asia Dauysy" (1990), "Season of the East" (1995). Co-author of the first Kazakhstan textbook on choreographic art "History of choreography of Kazakhstan" (2006). The author of the libretto of the ballet "Impressio" (Inspiration) for the B. Meirbekov Ballet Studio, which premiered at the opening of the Opera and Ballet Theater (Shymkent, 2007). Directing projects, choreographic performances for the dramatic plays were staged in various periods of the creative activity in the M. Auezov Kazakh State Academic Drama Theatre, M.Yu. Lermontov Russian Drama Theater (Abakan, Khakkasia, RF).
