Biography

26.06.1945, Alma-Ata.

Ballet dancer, teacher-tutor, choreographer.

1958-1964 – student of classical department of the MACS at the SABT of the USSR (1958-1964), teachers: E. P.Valukin, L.T. Zhdanov.

In 1973 (February) – completed courses of ballet masters-teachers at the All-Union Institute for Professional Training of Cultural Workers.

1964-1984 – ballet dancer, soloist of the Abay SAOBT. The solo debut was the role of the Chief buffoon in the opera "Rusalka". The debut role was the role of Nurali ("The Fountain of Bakhchisarai"), which the dancer performed without rehearsals, coming out for an urgent replacement for B. Valiev (1965), and then he performed the role of the Jester in the "Swan Lake". Repertoire: Shurale ("Shurale"), Hooligan ("The Young Lady and the Hooligan"), Pulcinella ("Pulcinella"), Nurali (first performance in the revised version of 1981 "The Fountain of Bakhchisarai", production ballet master Y. Sekh), Madge ("La Sylphide"), Nameless (first performance "Frescoes", choreography by Z. Raibayev), Jinn ("Cholpon"), Kodar, Black Raven ("Kozy-Korpesh-Bayan-Sulu"), Tabaqui ("My Brother, Mowgli"), Khan-Zada ("Aksak-Kulan"), Jester ("Swan Lake"), Joker (“Jeu de cartes”), Pan (first performance on the stage of the Abay SAOBT, choreographic scene “Walpurgis Night” from the opera “Faust”, choreography by M. Tleubayev), Rider (first performance, choreographic scene “Polovtsian Dances” from the opera “Prince Igor”by A.Borodin), pas-de-deux of Princess Florine and the Blue Bird (“Sleeping Beauty"), Peter (first performance, S. Prokofiev "Peter and the Wolf", choreography by Z. Raibayev), four shepherds ("Spartacus"), Devil (first performance, M. Chulaki "Russian Fairy Tale", choreography by M. Tleubayev), Nif-Nif (first performance, S. Kibirov "Three Little Pigs", choreography by M. Tleubayev) and other roles. Among the concert performances: "Baba Yaga" from the ballet "Pictures at an Exhibition" by M. Mussorgsky, "Balbyrauyn" by Y. Brusilovsky, "Hopak" by V. Solovyov-Sedoi, trio for Kurmangazy's kui "Sary-Arka" etc.

1978 – during the tour of the Abay SAOBT troupe in Moscow he performed the roles of Nurali in B. Asafyev's ballet "The Fountain of Bakhchisarai" and Pulcinella in I. Stravinsky's ballet of the same title on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater of the USSR.

Since 1967, in parallel with his artistic activities, he taught at the choreographic school. Since 1968, he also worked as a teacher- tutor at the Abay SAOBT.

1984 – was involved in pedagogical, ballet master and directing activities.

1985-1987 – ballet master-tutor at the State Honored Song and Dance Ensemble of the KazSSR; staged a choreographic composition to the music of L. Beethoven "Moonlight Sonata" (Aktau, 1986).

1987-1988 – teacher-tutor at the Abay SAOBT.

1988-1990 – worked on behalf of the Ministry of Culture of the USSR at the Maputo Ballet School in the capital of the Republic of Mozambique (South-East Africa), staged the ballet by C. Gounod "Walpurgis Night" and the Evening of Choreographic Miniatures, among which the solo Kazakh dance on pointe “Syrnai men Sazsyrnai” to the music of N. Tlendiyev, was accepted by the audience with special enthusiasm.

1991-1993 – Director-founder of the "Harmony" school for training of assistant secretaries.

1995 – production director of a large-scale event dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Abay Kunanbayev (Semipalatinsk).

1995 – chief ballet master of the State puppet theater in Almaty, staged the performances "Melodies of Friends", "Altyn Alma".

1996 – production director of the event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of M. Auezov (Semipalatinsk).

1995-1997 – production director of the International Ballet Festival "Prize of Traditions" (Almaty).

Since 2003 – chief consultant of the ballet studio Philadelphia Dance Conservatory (USA, Philadelphia), production ballet master, director of the ballet performances in the studio, teacher of the private choreographic studio "Lora studio dance" (Almaty).

2020-2021 – for the ballet studio Philadelphia Dance Conservatory he staged the following productions: "Rider" to the kui of Kurmangazy "Sary-Arka", "Queen Tomyris" to the composition of the ethno-folklore group "Turan", "Baba Yaga" by M. Mussorgsky. The performers of the concert pieces are the Laureates in the Neo-classical nomination at the California Dance Classic competition (USA, San Diego). Students and concert pieces "Queen Tomyris", "Panaderos" by A. Glazunov were awarded the Prizes at the International competitions in Italy and Spain.
