SHABYT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF CREATIVE YOUTH
Biography
The founder of the festival-competition "Shabyt" is the Akimat of the Astana city. The presentation took place in 1998, a great contribution to the development and popularization of the festival-competition was done by the Kazakh composer, public figure Tulegen Mukhamedzhanov. The purpose of the competition is to identify creative achievements in the field of art, support for the talented and gifted performers. For 25 years, the creative rise has been measured by the skills of the contestants, the format of the contest and its structure have changed, new ideas have been born. The competition united the talented youth of Kazakhstan and the world, becoming a beneficial platform for the exchange of experience, creative community and international communication of the art representatives.
The competition includes many nominations: choreography, classical and folk music, pop singing, academic singing, fine and applied arts, design, journalism, declamation, photography, theater, circus art. During the entire existence of the festival-competition, more than 10 thousand young talents of various genres of art took part in it. The Grand Prix of the festival at different times was awarded to the popular Kazakh humorist T. Kabatov, akyn K. Sarin, ballet dancers A. Beketayeva, B. Adamzhan, T. Gatauov, Zh. Aubakirov, opera singer A. Niyazova, group "Meloman", singer A. Matai, famous singer and composer K. Baekenov, dance ensembles "Akku" of the "K. Baizhanov Karaganda concert association", "Shabyt" KazNUA; young akyn, journalist E. Alshynbay and others.
