Biography
MIKHALYOVA Galina Aleksandrovna (12.11.1960, Askiz, Khakass Autonomous Region, RF) -ballet dancer, teacher-tutor. Honored Artist of the KazSSR (1990).
She graduated from Almaty Choreographic School (1972-1979) on specialty "Ballet Dancer", class of teacher I.K. Olzoyeva; the T.K. Zhurgenev Kazakh National Academy of Arts (1999-2003) on specialty "Teacher-Choreographer".
1979-2001 - soloist of the ballet of the State Classical Dance Ensemble of the RK headed by B. Ayukhanov. Main parts: F. Chopin "The Seventh Waltz", J. Bach-C. Gounod "Ave Maria", H. Villa- Lobos "Bachianas Brasileiras", J. Sibelius "Sad Waltz", A. Adam "Giselle" (pas-de- deux from act 2), W. Houston "I will always love you", J. Strauss "Waltz", G. Verdi "The Lady of the Camellias". Leading roles in the ballets: "Elektra" (Chrysothemis), "Crime and Punishment" (Sonechka), "Tatyana Larina" (Olga), “Concerto No. 1 by Tchaikovsky” (solo 1st act, solo 2nd act), "Hamlet" (Ophelia),"Edith Piaf - the soul of France" (Edith Piaf). Since 2001 - teacher-tutor at the SADT RK.
