Biography

31.03.1969, Alma-Ata

Ballet dancer, journalist - researcher. Honored Figure of Kazakhstan (2010). Candidate of philological sciences (2007). Member of the Union of Theater Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2009).

1979-1987 – student of the Alma-Ata Choreographic School, teachers: S.A. Nauryzbayeva, G.B. Gorskaya, S. Malina, S.I. Kusherbayeva.

1991-1996 – student of the Bachelor program of the Faculty of Journalism of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University, specialty “Journalism”. Diploma with honors.

1996-1997 – Master student of the Faculty of Journalism of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University, specialty “Publishing and Editing”. Diploma with honors.

2002-2004 – post graduate student of Journalism Faculty at al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

1987-2013 – artist, soloist of the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. Repertoire: Mercedes, Gypsy dance, Fandango ("Don Quixote"), Spanish dance ("Swan Lake"), Spanish dance ("Lady of the Camellias"), Panaderos (first performance, "Egyptian Nights"), Varvara (first performance, "Doctor Aibolit”), Fox ("Doctor Aibolit”), Oriental dance, Forban (“Le Corsaire”), Spanish dance (“The Nutcracker”), solo in Krakovyak (“The Fountain of Bakhchisarai”), Emilia (“The Moor’s Pavane”), Nurse (first performance, “Romeo and Juliet”), solo Kazakh, Spanish, Gypsy dances in the opera performances "Abay", "Kyz-Zhibek", "Birzhan and Sara", "Er-Targyn", "Carmen", etc.

2007 – defended the Candidate thesis on the topic "Mass Media and spiritual potential of the nation in terms of the sovereignty of Kazakhstan". Scientific supervisor Sagymbay Kozybayev.

2008-2009 – editor of the "Eclectic" section of the socio-economic journal Vox Populi, author of about 50 publications in the media.

Since 2010 – part-time teacher, since 2013 – full-time senior lecturer of the Journalism Faculty of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

2018-2021 – Director of the Institute of New Educational Technologies of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Since 2022 – Deputy Director of the Department for Academic Affairs of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The author of the concept and screenwriter of the television project "Legends and Myths of the Opera Theatre", which is dedicated to the history of the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, on the Republican cultural and educational television channel "Bilim" zhane "Madeniet" (2011); author of about 100 scientific papers, including reports, articles, monographs, books. The author of the idea of publishing texts about the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, the illustrated information guide "Choreographers of Kazakhstan (1934 - 2012)" under the general editorship of Nakipov D.T. – Almaty, 2012.

2016 – author of massive open online courses "History of Kazakh Journalism", "Teach Remotely", "Study Remotely", "Creating an Online Course: From Theory to Practice" on the Open KazNU educational platform.

2018 – author of the concept and head of the film crew of the Open Master Class educational project of the National Open Education Platform of Kazakhstan.

Author of the idea of creation and editor-in-chief encyclopedia and website “Choreographic art of Kazakhstan” (2023).

Awards: Badge "Madeniet kayratkeri" – "Honorary worker of culture" (2010).
