One-act performance.
Stage director - Kadisha Agimbayeva. Libretto - Arthur Kim. Production choreographers: Sagit Duzbaev, Meiramgul Aitmagambetova, Natalia Leontieva, Roza Belgibayeva, Dana Suleimenova, Gulden Fatkulla. Costume designer - Kuralai Kagenova. Musical editor - Nurfat Vakhitov. Scenography - Aidarkhan Kaliev.
The performance was created for the State Dance Theater "NAZ". The premiere performances were held twice: on the stage of the Congress Hall (Astana, 2013) and in the Abay SAOBT (Almaty, 2014).
First performers: Shoemaker Maruf - Dmitry Grazhdankin; Princess Esmegyul - Madina Kuzhamzharova; Scheherazade - Ayazhan Umasheva; Caliph Tahir - Almas Shoman; Chief vizier - Beibit Bayanbaev; Eunuch - Akon Ryskaliev.
The performance was created based on the oriental tale "A Thousand and One Nights". The action takes place in one of the largest cities in the Arab country, in Baghdad. A fairy tale story about the love of the shoemaker Maruf and Princess Esmegyul, where all events develop around a precious ring adorned with pearls.
