Biography
(18.02. 1952, Berlik village, Moiynkum district, Zhambyl region) - ballet dancer, ballet master. Honored Figure of Kazakhstan (1996), holder of the "Kurmet" Order (2008), holder of the "Parasat" Order (2015).
She graduated from Almaty Choreographic School (1970), teachers: Sh.B. Zhienkulova, M.Z. Akhmedieva, A.G. Gabitova, Zh.T. Tastanova; Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical Institute on specialty History and Social Science (1979).
She began her career in the "Gulder" ensemble as a soloist; she is one of the best students of the People's artist of KazSSR Sh.B. Zhienkulova, who is brought up on her method of performing the Kazakh dance.
1979-1986 - teacher of the Kazakh and oriental dances at the Zh. Elebekov Circus and Performance Art School; 1986-1994 - teacher of choreographic disciplines at Abai Kazakh Pedagogical Institute. Publication of the textbook “The Kazakh dance. Teaching Methodology” for educational institutions (1995), co-authored with A. Kalelova, is the result of educational and methodological work at the university.
1986-1994 - production ballet master of the tour and concert association "Kazakhconcert". From 1994 to 2022 she was the artistic director and chief ballet master of the "Saltanat" State Dance Ensemble. Her appointment has radically changed the creative concept of the ensemble, which began focusing on the popularization of the Kazakh dance based on stage forms. Dance suites: "Kairan 25", "Asyk", "Zhaylauda" etc., are very popular with the audience, are performed at major concerts and national cultural events, and are also included into the repertoire of many dance groups in Kazakhstan. She is the producer of the performances "Tomiris" to the music of V. Pitertsev (2005), "In the Name of the Motherland" based on the songs of the war years (in processing) (2015).
