Biography
PIVNITSKAYA (BURTSEVA) Nadezhda (1946, Alma-Ata - date of death unknown, Krasnoyarsk) - ballet dancer. Honored Artist of the KazSSR (1969).
Graduated from Almaty State Choreographic School on specialty "Ballet Dancer", class of R.M. Kurpesheva (1965).
1967-1979 - soloist of the ballet of the Ensemble of Choreographic Miniatures "Young Ballet of Alma-Ata". Participated in the All-Union competition of concert numbers (Moscow, 1969). The numbers were staged especially for her: Piaf “Dedication to Edith Piaf” (music by Ch. Dumont, choreography by B. Ayukhanov), Carmen (“Carmen Suite”, music by G. Bizet-R. Shchedrin), Juliet (Balcony Scene, music by S. Prokofiev from the ballet "Romeo and Juliet"). She performed the role of Gertrude in the ballet "Hamlet" (music by A. Isakova, choreography by B. Ayukhanov), Old Woman ("Kazakh Souvenirs", music by V. Bulgarovsky, choreography by B. Ayukhanov), Fox ("The Golden Eagle and The Fox", music by N. Tlendiyev, choreography by B. Ayukhanov).
Since 1978 - soloist of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. She married the choreographer V. Burtsev and took his surname.
