REBECK Raul Raimondo
Biography
(10.03.1969, Berlin) - dancer, teacher, ballet master.
He studied at the State Ballet School in Berlin. Upon graduation, he became the leading soloist of the Berlin State Opera and the German Opera Berlin. Laureate of the International and National ballet competitions.
He worked at the Aalto Theater Essen, collaborated with the State Berlin Ballet, American Ballet Theater in New York.
Since 2012 - ballet master of the Dortmund Ballet.
Since 2014 - artistic director and choreographer of NRW Juniorballet Dortmund.
As a guest ballet master he worked with many famous ballet companies and choreographers: R. Petit, M. Bejart, R. Nureyev, Y. Chauvire, H. V. Manen, J. Kylian, A. Preljocaj, J.-C. Maillot, M. Bigonzetti and others.
In Kazakhstan, his ballet "White Dream" was shown for the first time as part of EXPO-2017 (Astana), which was created for the Korean company Universal Ballet.
At the "Astana Opera" theatre he staged a one-act modern ballet "How long is Now?" to the music of contemporary composers (2018); the ballet "Beethoven - Immortality - Love" to the music of Beethoven (including the famous Ninth Symphony with the participation of the choir), as well as J.-S. Bach, J. Haydn, W. A. Mozart and contemporary compositions and arrangements by Dirk Haubrich (2020); ballet "Cinderella" to the music by S. Prokofiev, supplemented by music of Jimmy Durante, Billy Ray Cyrus, Louis Armstrong (2022).
At the "Astana Ballet" Theatre, he staged a one-act ballet "A journey of memory" to the music by Frederic Chopin, Philip Glass, Fazıl Say and Ezio Bosso (2019).
