Biography
(17.04.1935, Lugansk, Ukrainian SSR - 05.11.2003, Almaty) - theater artist. Honored Artist of the KazSSR (1969). Laureate of the State Prize of the KazSSR (1966). Holder of the "Parasat "Order.
1949-1954 - student of the State Art College in Voroshilovgrad.
1954-1960 - student of the V. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute, workshop of professor M. Kurilko.
1960-January 1971 - chief set designer of the Abay SAOBT.
The author of scenery for ballet and opera performances: "Old Man Hottabych", "The Legend of Love", "The Legend of the White Bird", "Swan Lake", "Kyz-Zhibek", "Spartacus" (1974), "Eugene Onegin" (2000), "Birzhan-Sara" (2001), "Kamar Sulu" (2003).
1970-1974 - chief artist of the Opera Studio of the MSC.
All of his productions are marked by an original and highly artistic approach to the solution of the performance figurativeness, which is expressed in a sense of style and era of the performance, understanding of the peculiarities of the choreographic ideas of the directors, with whom the pictorial solutions are synthesized.
