Biography
12.03.1963, Alma-Ata.
Ballet dancer, teacher, researcher. Candidate of Art History (2007), Associate professor (2022).
She graduated from the ACS (1981), teachers: K.M. Mazhikeyev, N.Ya. Akhunov. In 1991 she graduated from the philological faculty of S.M. Kirov Kazakh State University, specialty “Philologist, Teacher of Russian Language and Literature. In 2006 she defended Ph.D. thesis on the topic "Kazakh choreography: development of forms and artistic means".
From 1981 to 1990 - ballet dancer in the Abay SAOBT.
Since 1993 - teacher of the department "Stage movement" at T.K. Zhurgenov KazSITC. In 2008-2009; 2015-2018 - Head of the Stage Plasticity department. 2007-2018 headed the republican journal "Kazakhstan ballet alemi". In 2015-2018 - member of the CID International Dance Council at UNESCO.
During the period of her stage activity at the Abay SAOBT, she performed the leading character parts in ballet and opera performances. As part of the theater troupe and concert teams, she went on tour abroad (GDR, Algeria) as well as the regions of Kazakhstan.
For many years she has been engaged in educational, methodological and research activities in the field of choreography. She is the author of the monograph “Kazakh choreography: development of forms and artistic means” (2011, addition and reprint of the book in 2020), co-author and editor of the textbook “History of choreography of Kazakhstan” (2005). Author in collective monographs: “The steppe, enchanted by dance” (2011), “Circular dance: Nature-Human-Space” (Yakutsk, 2022); “Cultural identification - The problem of Art Studies” (2016), “Preservation, development and integration of cultural heritage of Hungary and Kazakhstan” (2017), reference book “Choreographers of Kazakhstan” (2012), author of more than 50 publications and reports in scientific journals and international scientific and practical conferences.
Awards: "Y. Altynsarin" Medal of the Ministry of Education and Science of the RK (2021).
