Choreographic miniature

Composer - Sergei Prokofiev. Libretto, choreography and staging - Bulat Ayukhanov.

The premiere took place in 2017. The production was staged for the SADT RK under the direction of B. Ayukhanov.

First performers: Nonna Chichinina, Kanat Karazhanov, Sergei Tikhonov.

New production. The premiere took place in 2021. Based on the choreographic miniature, the one-act ballet “Scythians. Southern night" was staged.

Characters and performers: Scythian king - Alan Shaken; Scythian princess - Ainur Mukasheva; Nubian prince - Madi Kasymov.

The Scythian people, inspired by victories, glorify their King and his beautiful daughter. From the military campaign, the Scythians return with rich booty and captive Nubians. Among them is the son of a Nubian chief. The Scythian princess falls in love with a noble captive and makes a date with him under the cover of the southern night. The father is angry, he finds his daughter in the arms of a Nubian.
