Biography

04.11.1965, Charsk sity, Semipalatinsk region (now Abay region, Zharminsky district).

Ballet dancer, teacher-tutor. Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR (1988). People's Artist of the Republic of Kazkhstan (1995). People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan (2003). Laureate of International Ballet Competitions.

1976-1984 – student of the A.Ya. Vaganova Leningrad Academic Choreographic School, graduated from the class of Yu. Umrikhin.

1984-1999 – leading ballet soloist at the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Repertoire: Siegfried ("Swan Lake"), Albert ("Giselle"), Spartacus ("Spartacus"), Basil ("Don Quixote"), Vaslav ("The Fountain of Bakhchisarai"), Prince ("The Nutcracker"), Jean de Brienne ("Raymonda"), Son ("Eternal Flame"), Alfred (first performance, "The Lady of the Camellias", choreography by M. Tleubayev), Vanechka (first performance, "Doctor Aibolit", choreography by M. Tleubayev), Conductor (first performance, "Classical Symphony", choreography by M. Tleubayev), Strauss ("Farewell to Petersburg", choreography by M. Tleubayev), Syrym ("Karagoz", choreography by G. Aleksidze) etc.

In parallel with his work in the theater, he took part in the work of the Tomura Homoy Ballet Company (1991, Japan), the Yoko Tsukamoto Ballet Studio (1992, Japan), and the Dance Unlimited ballet troupe (1994, USA).

1994-2004 – Mussa Jalil Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theatre (Kazan, Tatarstan). Leading ballet dancer.

Repertoire: Basil ("Don Quixote"), Solor ("La Bayadère"), Prince Desire ("Sleeping Beauty"), Siegfried ("Swan Lake"), Bacchus ("Walpurgis Night"), Albert ("Giselle"), Byltyr ("Shurale"), Tybalt ("Romeo and Juliet"), Scarab ("The Tale of Yusuf") etc.

1999-2012 – in parallel with performing activities, he worked as a teacher-tutor at the Mussa Jalil Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Since 2001 he started regularly teaching exercise lessons.

2012-2022 – teacher-tutor of the P.I. Tchaikovsky Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Since 2022 – teacher-tutor of the State Opera Varna (Bulgaria).

Awards: Laureate of the All-Union Ballet Competition in Moscow (Bronze medal, 1988); Laureate of the competition of creative youth "Zhiger" (Alma-Ata, 1988); Laureate of the XIII International Ballet Competition (IBC) in Varna (Silver medal, Bulgaria, 1988); Laureate of the IBC in Paris (Silver medal, France, 1988); winner of the IBC in Helsinki (Silver medal, Finland, 1991); Laureate of the IBC in Osaka (Bronze medal, Japan, 1991); Special award "Best Partner" IBC in Varna (Bulgaria, 1992).
