Biography

One-act ballet.

Music - Renat Salavatov, Karl Jenkins, Khamit Shangaliyev. Choreography - Mukaram Avakhri. Libretto - Bakhyt Kairbekov. Scenography and costumes - Gafura Kairbekova. Video design - Natalia Ryblova.

The ballet was created for the troupe of the Astana Ballet Theatre, the premiere took place on July 2, 2016.

The ballet is a choreographic variation on Abai's poems: "Illumination", "Segiz ayak", "Seasons", "Kozimnin karasy", "Toy bastar", "Tatyana's Letter", "Poet's Prayer", "Zhelsiz tunde...". The work conveys love for the poetry of Abai Kunanbayev, filled with deep philosophical experiences and reflections, tenderness and sadness.
