Biography

Female dogs

One-act performance in the genre of dance theater.

Music - Maria Buane, “Zap mama” band, “MOBY” band, Riccardo Chailly, Paul Hiller, Jocelyn Pook, Andre Minvielli, Wim Mertens. Libretto, choreography and staging, scenography and costumes - Gulmira and Gulnara Gabbasovs.

The premiere took place on February 18, 2004 on the stage of the Republican German Drama Theatre. The production was staged for the artists of the SADT RK under the direction of Bulat Ayukhanov.

Performers - Svetlana Kokshinova, Gulfida Gafurova, Aitolkyn Turginbayeva, Gulmira and Gulnara Gabbasovs; actors of the German theater - Natalia Dubs, Pavel Permyakov.

“Behind the external canvas of the comic and grotesque performance, a thin piercing line of eternal female longing for love and understanding of her inner world can be traced. In the performance, this is expressed without anguish and passions torn to shreds, without tedious sentimentality and melodramatic effects. The viewer begins to realize - how true the real world of a woman is expressed. These are just characters - dogs. And this is our human world that is depicted. (Flyura Musina).

Male Dogs

One-act performance in the genre of dance theater.

Music - Zucchero Feat, James Asher, Boban Markovic, Martin Grech, Hernando Hideaway, “Terem Quartet”, “Safri duo”. Choreography, libretto, scenography and costumes - Gulmira and Gulnara Gabbasovs.

The production was staged for the SADT RK under the direction of B. Ayukhanov. The premiere took place on February 13, 2005 on the stage of the Republican German Drama Theatre.

The performers -soloists of the troupe of B. Ayukhanov’s Theater: Nurlan Konokbayev, Eldiyar Daniyarov, Talant Osmonov, Anton Zyryanov, Nikolai Repkin, Evgeny Deryabin.

Six men meet on a bench in the yard. Six different characters, six different destinies, six different life stories. They are united by one thing - loneliness, the desire to love and be loved.

A dog's life

Music - Ennio Morricone, Gigi D-Agostino, Alberto Iglesias, Ludovico Einaudi, the song "Women's Things" by the “Kolibri” band. Choreography, libretto, scenography and costumes - Gulmira and Gulnara Gabbasovs.

The natural meeting of the characters of "Female Dogs" and "Male Dogs" in an ironic form reveals the events. Behind the irony of the images there are the sincere feelings of the characters conveyed in the duet scenes.
