Biography

12.03.1964, Almaty.

Ballet dancer, ballet master, teacher. Honored Artist of the KazSSR (1988), People's Artist of the RK (1996).

Diploma winner of the International ballet competitions: 1989 (Moscow, RF), 1990 (Varna, Bulgaria), 1990 (Jackson, USA), 1996 - Laureate of the International ballet competition "Prize of Traditions” (Almaty, Kazakhstan), winner of the Youth Prize “Daryn” (1992), Holder of the “Kurmet” Order (2009).

Graduated from the Moscow Academic Choreographic School at the Bolshoi Theater of the USSR (1974-1982), Diploma with honors, teachers: Kolenchenko L.A., R.S. Peterson; Almaty Institute of Theater and Cinema (T.K. Zhurgenov KazNAA) specialty "Choreography Directing" (1996-1999), workshop of Z.M. Raibayev.

1982-2003 - leading soloist, prima ballerina of the Abay SAOBT. Repertoire: Aurora ("Sleeping Beauty"), Giselle, Myrtha ("Giselle"), Masha ("The Nutcracker"), Odette - Odile ("Swan Lake"), Kitri, Queen of the Dryads ("Don Quixote"), Medora ("Le Corsaire"), Aegina ("Spartacus"), Conchita ("Juno" and "Avos"), Sylphide ("Sylphide"), Carmen ("Carmen Suite"), Shamkhat, Bride ("Frescoes"), Zarema ("The Fountain of Bakhchisarai"), Raymonda ("Raymonda"), Karakoz ("Karakoz"), Bride ("Eternal Flame"), Woman ("Man and Woman"). The ballerina's repertoire includes concert numbers of modern and classical choreography. Partners in ballet performances were M. Adyrkhayev, M. Tukeyev, B. Smagulov, D. Sushkov, N. Kanetov.

Since 1997, she has been engaged in tutoring and teaching activities: 2003-2006 - production ballet master of the Abay SAOBT; since 2006 - artistic director of the ballet troupe of the Abay SAOBT; 2009-2012 - production ballet master; since 2012 - artistic director of the Abay SAOBT and the chief ballet master. Since 2001, she combines the work at the Abay SAOBT with pedagogical activity, is a professor at T.K. Zhurgenov KazNAA, for twenty years from 2001 to 2021 she headed the Department of Choreography Directing.

Diploma performances "Cosmos of the Soul" to the music by A. Schnittke and "Mask Theater" to the music by F. Poulenc for a certain time were included into the repertoire of the theater. Performances on the stage of the Abay SAOBT: one-act ballets "Charlie" to the music by D. D. Shostakovich (2005), "Suite in the style of Antico" to the music by A.G. Schnittke (2005); ballet scenes in the performances of "Abylay Khan" to the music by E.R. Rakhmadiyev (2004), in the opera "Tannhäuser" by R. Wagner (2010); in W. Mozart's opera "Don Juan" (2010); staging and developing the idea of a performance (cantata-ballet) by C. Orff "Carmina Burana" (2012); dance fragments in the opera "Carmen" by G. Bizet - R.K. Shchedrin (2015); staging a two-act play "Legends of the Great Steppe" to the music by Kazakh composers (2015); staging of a two-act play "Coppelia" to the music by L. Delibes (2017).

Tours: Russia (Ivanovo, 1983); Grozny, Krasnodar, Sochi, 1986; Orenburg, 1997), Algeria (1986), Germany (1986), Uzbekistan (Tashkent, 1998), Turkey (1991), Malta (1991), Ireland (1995), tour with the M. Jalil Kazan Opera and Ballet Theatre as a guest ballerina, China (Shanghai, 1993; Beijing, 1994). Solo performances were held in the cities of the RF: St. Petersburg (1990-1991), Yekaterinburg (1992), Moscow (1993).
