Biography
(11.10.1938, Alma-Ata - 11.06.2009, Almaty) - ballet dancer, teacher, choreographer.
1958 - graduate of A. Ya. Vaganova LCS, class of A.I. Pushkin.
1964-1969 - student of the Ballet Master's department of the A.V. Lunacharsky GITIS, workshop of R. Zakharov.
1958 - ballet dancer in the Abay SAOBT. Academic features, technical skills, purity, precision of movements allowed the young artist to become the performer of the leading roles of classical ballets: Nurali, Young man ("The Fountain of Bakhchisarai"), Shurale ("Shurale"), Sabir ("The Way of Friendship"), Soloist ("Grand Waltz"), Gringoire ("Esmeralda"), Eugene ("The Bronze Horseman") etc.
1960-1964 - soloist of the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Kazakh SSR.
As a ballet master, he made his debut on the stage of the Abay SAOBT with a production of the ballet “Don Quixote” by L. Minkus, the 5th scene in the ballet “Chin-Tomur” by K. Kuzhamyarov.
In different periods, as a leader and production choreographer, he headed leading creative teams and educational institutions: artistic director and teacher of the A. V. Seleznev ACS (1961-1964, 1988-1999); teacher-tutor (1971); artistic director and chief ballet master of the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Kazakh SSR (1978-1985); chief ballet master, director of the Republican Youth Variety Ensemble "Gulder" (1969-1978, 1985-1988); Head of the Department of special disciplines of the Faculty of Choreography (1994-1996); Head of the department "Choreography Directing" (1996-1998), then until 2006, associate professor of T. K. Zhurgenov KazNAA.
He left a bright mark in the history of national choreography. The outstanding individual dance language, and the author's style allowed him to create talented performances not only of the classical repertoire on the stage of the theater, but also national choreographic compositions in numerous ensembles of the republic.
Awards: "Badge of Honor" (1980). Diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR (1958).
