The premiere took place on March 20 and 22, 2008 at the K. Baiseitova NOBT.

Characters and performers: The Snow Queen - Elena Semenova, Aizhan Mukatova; Doctor - Elena Semenova, Aizhan Mukatova; The girl - Tatyana Ten, Marina Kadyrkulova; The boy- Azamat Rafikov.

The plot of the ballet is an unusual interpretation of Andersen's famous fairy tale "The Snow Queen", where the action is transferred to the young capital of Kazakhstan. In the first version, the ballet was called "Astana qiyaldary", with an indication - winter fantasy based on the fairy tale by H.-C. Andersen. The story itself is predictable. The story of saving the brother, who was captured by the Snow Queen, remained unchanged. In the course of the action, the Girl will have to go through different lands and countries, meet Saiga and Shepherds in the steppe, Ducks and Geese in the lake, Watermelons, Melons, Apples, Pears, Plums, Grapes and Apricots in the sunny garden. All the characters whom she met along the way help the Girl, equip her for the journey, give her a wagon and clothes for the season, and she safely returns home with her brother. After returning home, the children wake up in their apartment with a book of fairy tales in their hands.
