Biography

One-act ballet.

Music - Kuat Schildebayev, Sergei Rachmaninov, Arvo Pärt, Karl Jenkins. Choreography - Mukaram Avahri. Libretto - Bakhyt Kairbekov. Scenography and costumes - Olga Shaishmelashvili.

The performance was created for the troupe of the Astana Ballet Theatre, the premiere took place on December 10, 2014.

Characters and performers: Bride - Ainura Sultankozhayeva, Zere Ismailova; Heavenly gift - Riza Kanatkyzy.

The performance is based on the legends and myths about the steppe people, the allegorical image of whom is embodied in dance miniatures.

“Zhusan is bitter because there is a lot of sadness in it.

But its flavor, is sweet, like a cradle,

It reminds of the childhood,

Youth, joyful days ...

Here is the secret of the herb -

Inconspicuous only in appearance,

Omnipresent…”.
