Biography

(02.01.1961, Vladikavkaz, North Ossetia, RF) - ballet dancer, teacher. Honored Artist of the KazSSR (1988).

Graduated from the A.Ya.Vaganova Leningrad Choreographic School (1973-1979), teachers: Yu.M. Naidich, Yu.I. Umrikhin, A.V. Khmelnitsky. By distribution, he began to work at the North Ossetian Music and Drama Theatre (now the National State Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania (a branch of the Mariinsky Theatre), where he worked for two theatrical seasons; completed professional development course at the Moscow Academic Choreographic School, studied in the class of A. V. Khmelnitsky (1981-1982).

1982-1990 - soloist of the Abay SAOBT, performed all the main roles in the ballets of the classical repertoire. Repertoire: Siegfried ("Swan Lake"), Albert ("Giselle"), Basil ("Don Quixote"), Jean de Brienne ("Raymonda"), Spartacus, Crassus ("Spartacus"), Colas ("La Fille mal gardee"), Vaslav ("The Fountain of Bakhchisarai"), Count Rezanov ("Juno" and "Avos"). He provided partner assistance to the graduates of the Almaty Choreographic School. In Abay SAOBT, his partners were R. Baiseitova, M. Kadyrova, G. Tutkibayeva, Sh. Musakhanova.

In different periods he danced in ballet troupes and theaters of the RF: 1990 - soloist of the "Kremlin Ballet" Theater (Moscow), performed the roles: King Duncan ("Macbeth" by K. V. Molchanov, choreography by V. V. Vasiliev); 1992-1994 - soloist of the Vakil Usmanov Moscow Theatre of Choreography (Moscow), performed miniatures and divertissements: "Elegy" to music by S.S. Rachmaninoff, pas de deux from the classical heritage ballets "Don Quixote", "Giselle" etc.; 2000-2005 - soloist of the Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, performed the main roles: Solor ("La Bayadère" by L.F. Minkus), Prince Desire ("Sleeping Beauty" by P.I. Tchaikovsky), Jose ("Carmen" by G. Bizet - R. Shchedrin).

Since 2018 - teacher of the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble "Alan" and the Republican College (Vladikavkaz, RF).
