AKHMEDIAROV Kazbek Gazizovich
Biography
(23.09.1981, settlement Karatobe, Karatyubinsky district, Ural region) – ballet dancer. Holder of the “Kurmet” Order (2018).
1991-1999 – graduated from A. V. Seleznev ACS, teachers: R. A. Lukomskaya, E. A. Ussin, A. M. Jalilov, E. D. Malbekov, V. P. Golov. During his studies, he became a Diploma winner at the International Ballet Competition (Lausanne, Switzerland, 1996) and a Laureate of the I Prize at the International Competition of Choreographic Schools (Novosibirsk, Russia, 1999).
2022 – Master’s degree in Art History in the specialty “Choreography” at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.
1999-2015 – soloist, principal soloist in ballet companies in France and Germany: “Ballet du Capitole” in Toulouse, Young Ballet of France in Paris, Hessian State Theater Wiesbaden, German State Opera and Ballet Theatre in Saarbrücken. Performed leading roles in ballets by A. Bournonville, G. Balanchine, R. Nureyev, W. Forsythe, J. Kylian, D. Dawson: “Naples”, “La Sylphide”, “Flower Festival in Genzano”, “Raymonda”, “Little death”, “Don Quixote”, “Swan Lake”, “Nine Sinatra Songs”, “Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland”, “The Nutcracker”, “Firebird”, “Giselle”, “Le Corsaire”, “The Moor’s Pavane”, “Carmen”, “Wedding”, “Coppelia”, “Three Musketeers”, etc.
In 2015 was invited to the “Astana Ballet” Theater as an assistant choreographer and leading soloist. With his direct participation, the following one-act ballets were staged:
“Gaia”, “Love Fear Loss”, “A Fuego Lento”, “Touch of Illusion”, “Diversity” (choreography by R. Amarante), in which he also was the performer of the main roles. The first performer of roles in theater productions: Herod (“Salome”), Baybars (“Sultan Baybars”, choreography by M. Avakhri), Prince (“Cinderella”, choreography by N. Kalinina). Since 2019 he combines performing activities with the work of a theater teacher-tutor.
He made a great contribution to the development of the theater’s creative cooperation with the world’s leading ballet foundations of the legacy of George Balanchine and William Forsythe, as a result of which, for the first time in Kazakhstan, masterpieces of ballet art were successfully staged at the “Astana Ballet” Theater: “Serenade”, “Concerto Baroque”, "Rubies" choreographed by G. Balanchine and “In The Middle Somewhat Elevated” (where he performed the leading role at the premiere) choreographed by W. Forsythe.
Awards: winner of the honorary medal “Khalyk algysy” (2020).
