Biography

One-act ballet.

Composer - Joaquin Rodrigo, musical composition "Aranjuez Concerto"; the works by the Spanish composers. Libretto, choreography and staging - Gulnara Adamova.

The premiere took place in 2001 during the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan in Russia at the A. I. Raikin Variety Theater in St. Petersburg. The ballet was created for the troupe of the MDT "Samruk". The fragments of the performance were also performed at the Mariinsky Theater during those days.

Characters and performers: main female character- Gulzhan Tutkibayeva, Albina Dodarkhojayeva, Assel Abakayeva;main male character- Yersain Mukayev,second character- Baurzhan Kosmanov. Performers of the mass scenes: Zhanna Orlova, Natalya Korchagina, Elena Ezau, Raushan Shermakhanbetova.

The ballet tells about the tests of love, devotion and separation, life and death. The image of the main character presents the collective image of Spain. The ballet is based on the musical material of the Aranjuez Concerto, hence the name of the ballet. A love triangle is shown on the stage: a soloist and two male dancers, each of whom claims to be hers. The first meeting of the trio presents a sketch of the further tragedy. This is only the eve of love and rivalry. The final scene tells of the death of the beloved one and the despair of the main character, which is embodied in her emotional dramatic dance. The corps de ballet performs a double dramatic function in the ballet: it symbolizes the city dwellers, and then embodies the feelings and emotions of the main character.
