Biography

(04.07.1952, Zhitomir - 2020, St. Petersburg) - ballet dancer, choreographer.

1963-1971 - student of the Kyiv Choreographic School.

1974-1977 - student of the N. Rimsky-Korsakov Leningrad State Conservatory, Ballet Master's department, workshop of A. Polubentsev, in the 1st year of study he studied at the course of M. Tleubayev.

As a 4th year student, he staged the ballet "Petrushka" by I. Stravinsky in his own version, later - the ballet "Fly-Tsokotukha" and the opera "Flint" at the theatre of the Conservatory.

Since 1978- choreographer at the Omsk Musical Theatre, where he staged the ballets "La Fille mal gardee" and "The Legend of Thiel".

2002-2003 - chief choreographer at the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre.

2007 - choreographer of the ballet troupe of the St. Petersburg Conservatory, artistic director of the ballet of the St. Petersburg Music Hall.

He was invited to stage the productions in various theatres: "The Master and Margarita" (Perm, Kyiv, 2007); "The Nutcracker" at the St. Petersburg Conservatory (2008).

For many years he worked as a coach-choreographer of the St. Petersburg national figure skating team, where he staged the productions for famous figure skaters.

On the stage of the K. Baiseitova NOBT he staged the ballet "Baiterek" to the music of A. Bestybayev (2011).
