Biography

Оutstanding Kazakhstani dancer, ballet dancer, teacher, ballet master. Honored Artist of the KazSSR (1973), People's artist of the KazSSR (1976), People's artist of the USSR (1979), Laureate of the K.Baiseitova State Prize of the KazSSR (1976). Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize in the field of literature, art, journalism and architecture for his performance of the role of the Young Man in the ballet “Aliya” (1980). Laureate of International Ballet Competitions.
1958-1966 - student of the MACS, teacher A. Rudenko. Diploma with honors.
1980-1985 - Rimsky-Korsakov LSC, specialty "Ballet Director".
1966-1988 - ballet dancer, leading soloist of the ballet at the Abay SAOBT. Solo debut on January 30, 1968 as Vaslav ("The Fountain of Bakhchisarai") Repertoire: Spartacus (first performance "Spartacus"), Basil (first performance in 1969 and 1982 productions, ("Don Quixote"), Siegfried, pas- de - trois ("Swan Lake"), Albert, inserted pas- de- deux of the act II (A. Adam "Giselle"), James (first performance, H. Levenshold "La Sylphide"), Solor (first performance in 1971 production, L. Minkus "La Bayadère"), Desiree (first performance in 1972 production, P. Tchaikovsky "Sleeping Beauty"), Jean de Brienne (first performance in production of 1984, A. Glazunov "Raymonda"), Romeo (first performance in production of 1972, S. Prokofiev "Romeo and Juliet"), Pulcinella (first performance in production of 1978, I. Stravinsky "Pulcinella"), Prince (first performance in production of 1980, P. I. 1976 - K. Baiseitova State Prize of the KazSSR for the performance of the leading roles in the ballets "Swan Lake", "Spartacus", "Giselle", "Don Quixote".
1977-1988 - teacher-tutor at the Abay SAOBT. Under the leadership of R. Bapov, the following leading soloists of the theater worked on solo parts: M. Kadyrova, G. Aliyeva, B. Smagulov, M. Adyrkhayev, E. Asylgazinov, S. Turabayev, M. Karakulova, D. Tabyldy.
1988-1990 - teacher-tutor at the Istanbul Opera and Ballet Theatre. Together with Lyudmila Rudakova, he was the teacher-tutor of the leading dancers: People's Artist of the Republic of Turkey Meric Sumen, ballet principal Oktay Keresteci, leading ballerina Hyulia Aksular and other ballet soloists.
1990-1994 - teacher of the Ballet department of the Conservatory at the Istanbul State University. Among the students: Chiydam Tezdzhur, Aifer Zeren, Jem Chatbash, Murat Chatbash, who became the Laureates of the IBC in Kazakhstan. Among his students: Murat Kurtulmush (teacher of the ballet department of the conservatory), Oral Yazici, Zeynep Vural, Zehre Tarym.
1994-2007 - teacher-tutor and ballet master at the ballet studios in the USA.
2007 - at the invitation of the President of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev he returned to Kazakhstan.
2008 - began the work as the chief ballet master of the Abay SAOBT. In the last years of his life, he worked as the adviser to the Director of the theater on choreography and professor at the T. Zhurgenov KazNAA, where he taught to the students of the department "Choreography Directing", such as A. Tsoi, D. Urazymbetov, O. Nurzhankyzy and others.
Awards: Laureate of the All-Union Ballet Competition in Moscow, where, in a duet with Raushan Baiseitova, he presented a concert number to the music by A. Rudyansky "Melody of Hearts" directed by E. Ussin (III Prize, 1969); medal "For valiant work in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of V. I. Lenin" (1970); “Badge of Honor” Order (1971); Laureate of the All-Union Review of Young Performers in Moscow (I Prize, 1973); Laureate of the IBC in Varna (III Prize, Bronze medal, Bulgaria, 1974); medal "Friendship of the Peoples of Vietnam" (1982).
