Biography
One-act ballet.
Composer - Maurice Ravel. Libretto - Zaurbek Raibayev, based on the tragedy "Bloody Wedding" by Gabriel Garcia Lorca. Choreography and staging - Zaurbek Raibayev, thesis at the A. V. Lunacharsky GITIS together with the ballets "Chopiniana" and "Francesca da Rimini". Set designer - Vladimir Semizorov. Conductor - Turgut Osmanov.
The premiere took place on June 19, 1962 at the Abay SAOBT.
Characters and performers: Soloist - Inessa Manskaya, Sofia Tulusanova; 1st soloist - Abduakhim Asylmuratov; 2nd soloist - Eduard Malbekov.
Restoration. The premiere took place on March 27, 1994 at the Abay SAOBT. Choreography and staging - Zaurbek Raibayev. Set designer - Orynbasar Zhanbyrshiyev. Conductor - Valery Rutter.
Characters and performers: 1st soloist - Alma Askarbekova, Zaure Umbetkulova; 2nd soloist - Assel Musinova; 1st soloist - Nurlan Kanetov, Samat Askarbekov; 2nd soloist - Tursunbek Nurkaliyev, Nurlan Abugaliyev.
On the background of the constantly changing compositional pattern of the corps de ballet, the ballet master developed a deep conflict of the solo trio, which, having reached the highest tension, was tragically cut off.

The production was staged for the ECM “Young Ballet of Alma-Ata”, premiered in 1968 under the direction of Bulat Ayukhanov.
First performers: Nelli Pak, Mintai Tleubayev, Vakil Usmanov, Alexei Semyanov, Bulat Ayukhanov. In 1970 - Olga Aksenova, Alexey Semyanov, Bulat Ayukhanov; later B. Ayukhanov's partners - Lilya Nurgazina, Akmaral Beisembieva, Nonna Chichinina.
The story of the difficult fate of two widowed women - Mabiki and Hilly. Two difficult stories that happened - one in 1938, the other - in 1941. “They had rare joys: as an example of courage, one can compare with their incredible efforts to straighten heavy rails ... The storms of adversity did not spare and did not give a respite; neither screams nor groans of desperate women saved. It seemed that the last forces were exhausted, but the solid ground held the line of the battle for life. The spirit grew stronger, everything was overflowing with a sense of faith that the good sun would rise” (B. Ayukhanov).

The premiere took place on April 27-28, 2019 at the Abay KazNOBT.
Performers - soloists of the ballet troupe of the Abay KazNOBT: Nargiz Mirseidova, Malika Davletova, Malika Yelchibayeva, Kamila Omarova, Bayan Beketayeva, Zhanel Tukeyeva, Riza Taganova, Dinara Kudabayeva, Aruzhan Baratova, Dilyafraz Zhakypova, Isida Kalyakina, Gulnaziya Piltan; Mukhtar Jumaniyazov, Rakhim Dairov, Nelson Peña, Farkhad Sadvakasov, Rustem Imangaliyev, Arkhat Ashirbek, Arnur Tusupbekov, Aset Murzakulov, Eldar Abilov, Kaskyrbay Yeskali, Rafael Urazov, Aziz Yesenbayev.
The ballet reveals the inner world of the artist who creates the image of a beautiful woman. The boundless fantasies of the creator lead us into the world of love, jealousy and passion.
