The premiere took place on June 2, 2005 on the stage of the Abay SAOBT.
Characters and performers: Charlie - Yassaui Mergaliev, Yerzhan Doskarayev; Mask of Fate - Aliya Sapugova, Assel Shaikenova; Beloved - Nailya Krebayeva; Host of variety show - Ulan Badenov; variety show artists, spectators, visions - ballet dancers.
The idea of the performance is the tragedy of the "little person", his place in the society, the experiences and disappointments of the variety theater artist Charlie.
Most of action takes place in the backstage of the theater. Charlie is trying to court his Beloved - the bride of the Host of Variety Show. Because of this, a small incident occurs with a jealous rival. In search of an answer to his love, Charlie receives another "kick of fate". In a dream, the image of the Beloved visits him, but the Mask of Fate intrudes the cycle of dreams. Charlie regains faith in the power of the stage and his destiny. The finale of the ballet remains open to reflection and imagination of the audience.
