AKKERBEZ DANCE ENSEMBLE

Biography

The ensemble was created in 2012 in the SE "K. Azerbayev Zhambyl Regional Philharmonic", Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Zhambyl region. The creator and first leader is Aizhan Nurmanaliyeva, since November 2013 the ensemble has been led by A.S. Konarbayev.

The repertoire of the ensemble includes Kazakh folk dances and dances of the world's peoples. The ensemble collaborates with such choreographers as G. Orynbayeva, B. Sazabekov, M. Agabylov, M. Aitmaganbetova.

In 2017, the team successfully performed on tour in India (Delhi, Port Blair, Shillong Island, Guwahati); in 2019 it took part in the Sheikh Zayed International Cultural Festival in Abu Dhabi (UAE); participant of the television mega-project "Zheti Kazyna" of the Khabar TV channel (2022).

Awards: III Prize in the nomination "Halyk bii" at theVIIІ, I place at the IX regional Youth Delphic Games (2012, 2013); III Prize of the Republican Dance Competition "Buran Bel" (2013); III place at the I Republican Competition "Altynay", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the ethnographer-scientist U. D. Dzhanibekov (Taldykorgan, 2021); with the production "Dala-Gumyr" by A.Konarbayev, itbecame a Diploma winner of the I Republican competition of choreographers "Kamazhay" (2022); the soloist of the ensemble Gulnur Kasymbek became the Laureate of the I degree of the International Dance Festival "Lyazgi" (Khiva, Uzbekistan, 2022); Grand Prix of the television mega-project "Zheti Kazyna" (TV channel of JSC "Khabar", 2022); the soloist of the ensemble Aigul Nurymova took part in the I International Competition "Nomad Awards 2022" and became the Laureate of the I degree in the "Profi" category (2022).
