KOSTANAY DAWNS DANCE ENSEMBLE

Biography

The ensemble was created in 1971 at the Inter-Union Palace of Culture of Trade Unions in Kustanay. Since 1997, the ensemble has been a professional team of the SE “E. Umurzakov Kostanay Regional Philharmonic", Department of Culture of the Akimat of the Kostanay region. Artistic director and ballet master - holder of the badge "Madeniet salasynyn uzdigi" and the medal "Eren enbegi ushin" E.V. Borskaya.

The ensemble's repertoire includes more than 50 choreographic compositions. At different periods the choreographers of Kazakhstan and Russia took part in the development of the repertoire: A. Tati (“Kyz Kain”, “Toi Bastar”); A. Kulbekova ("Altyn Orda"); A. Tsoy ("Mereke", "Kuanamyn", "Dumandy Toby", Korean dance with fans, Egyptian dance); Honored figure of Kazakhstan B. Sazabekov ("Bakhor", Indian dance, "Kyzyl Alma", "Sharkh", "Altynay"). Creative union and productions of such ballet masters as V. Shashkov (Russia) - "Cossack Combat"; N. Terentyeva (Russia) - "Festive Waltz"; V. Tymoshenko (Ukraine) - "Kolomyika", "Bukovinskie parubki"; Z. Sharipova (Russia) - one-act ballet "Bolero", raised the performance level of the artists of the ensemble.

The team takes part in the government concerts, significant cultural events of the country: the Inauguration of the President of the RK; Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan; Central Asian Games; "Shabyt - Millennium"; EXPO-2017; Days of Kazakhstan Culture in Russia; World Kurultai of the Kazakhs in Germany; festive concerts dedicated to the Independence Day of the RK etc.

The ensemble is the Laureate of the International festivals: "SENLU" (Saint- Malo, France, 2003); IX International Festival of National Cultures (Ufa, 2009); "Cheonan WORLD DANCE FESTIVAL" (Cheonan, South Korea, 2011); “Russia, You are my heart and my song” (Lipetsk, RF, 2013); "IS PARIGLIAS" (Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy, 2019).
