Biography

One-act ballet.

Music - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Pietro Mascagni, Ludwig Minkus, Jules Massenet, Alexander Glazunov, Antonio Vivaldi, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Charles Gounod, Camille Saint Saens, Max Bruch. Choreography and idea - Ricardo Amarante. Scenography and costumes - Rene Salazar.

The ballet was created for the troupe of the Astana Ballet Theatre, the premiere took place on December 10, 2016.

The choreographer presents the audience the opportunity to take a retrospective journey into the beautiful world of ballet, from its inception to the present day. For several centuries, much has changed in this eternally young and beautiful art: music, plastic, costumes, images. The ballet changed like life itself; like people, manners, behavior. The desire for beauty remains unchanged in people, and ballet quenches this thirst.

The ballet "Diversity" opens with a picture of magnificent, solemn, ceremonial and stately dance of the Renaissance, and ends with the spontaneity and ease of neoclassics.
