HEIDEBRECHT Ernst
Biography
Artist, stage designer. Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus, Laureate of Russian National Theatre Award "Golden Mask" (opera "Orpheus" by C. Monteverdi at the P. I. Tchaikovsky Perm Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, 2009).
He graduated from the Almaty Art College (1965), worked in the Alma-Ata TYS and the Abay State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, production designer of the ballet and opera performances: "The Barber of Seville" by G. Rossini, "Carmen Suite" by G. Bizet-R. Shchedrin, "The Nutcracker" by P. Tchaikovsky, "Hamlet" by A. Isakova, "Romeo and Juliet" by S. Prokofiev.
1984-1990 - Chief artist of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus. The artist became widely known for his works at the Sverdlovsk Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, including performances: "Boris Godunov" by M. Mussorgsky, "The Prophet" by V. Kobekin, "Antigone" by V. Lobanov, "The Legend of the Invisible City of Kitezh and the Maiden Fevroniya" by Rimsky-Korsakov, "Gayane" by A. Khachaturian.
He acted as a stage designer for 3 ballet performances on the stage of the Abay SAOBT: ballet "Aksak Kulan" by A. Serkebayev, choreography by M. Tleubayev (1976); rock-opera-ballet "My Brother Mowgli" by A. Serkebayev, choreography by M. Tleubayev (1982); ballet "Tlep and Sarykyz" to music by A. Serkebayev, choreography by M. Sappington (2009).
Since 1990 he has been living in Germany, collaborating with theatres in Portugal, Switzerland and Germany, Russia (Moscow).
