ISMAILOV Ali Malikovich
Biography
(04.10.1939 - 07.12.2010, Almaty) - dancer, teacher. Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR (1966).
Graduated from Leningrad Choreographic School (1949-1955), teachers: A.I. Pushkin, I.D. Belsky, A.I. Bocharov, A.A. Pisarev and others. The founder and soloist of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the KazSSR under the leadership of L.D. Chernysheva (1955). Highly trained dancer, he perfectly mastered the technique of performance, performed complex tricks in all choreographic compositions. In 1957, as part of the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the KazSSR, he participated in the World Festival of Youth and Students (Moscow), took part in the Decade of Literature and Art of the Kazakh SSR (Moscow), international festivals, toured in many countries of the world, danced on the famous stages of the CIS and other countries, was one of the leading soloists of the ensemble, and as a highly skilled professional, he possessed high technique and artistic excellence.
1976-1984 - was in charge of production and stage practice at Alma-Ata Choreographic School, made great contribution to the expansion of the repertoire, improvement of the rehearsal process; 1984-1986 - worked as the head of the ballet troupe of the Abai SAOBT. In different years he worked as the artistic director of the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the KazSSR and the "Altynay" State Folk Dance Ensemble.
