Biography

Ballet dancer, teacher.
Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan (2004); Laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of literature and art "For the development of the traditions of the national epic in modern conditions of the dialogue between cultures" for the performance of the main role in the ballet "The Tale of Yusuf" (2006); Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2015).
Laureate of the Prize "Soul of Dance" from the magazine "Ballet" in the nomination "Rising Star" (2003), is the only representative of the ballet art of Kazakhstan, who received such a high recognition.
1985-1993 - student of the A.V. Seleznev ACS, specialty "Ballet dancer", teachers Tastanova Zh.T., Muntin M.I., Akhmetshin I.M.;
2006-2011- N. Zhiganov Kazan State Conservatory (Academy), qualification "Teacher-Ballet master" on specialty "Ballet Pedagogy " (Kazan, Tatarstan).
1992-1996 - as a student, he was accepted into the troupe of the Abay SAOBT. He made his debut as James in "La Sylphide". Repertoire: Albert ("Giselle"), Siegfried, pas- de- trois ("Swan Lake"), James ("La Sylphide"), Slave Ali ("Le Corsaire"), Desiree, Blue bird ("Sleeping Beauty"), Bridegroom ("Bolero") and other roles of the classical and national repertoire.
1996-2018 - Leading soloist and principal dancer of the M. Jalil TASOBT. He made his debut as Prince Siegfried in P. I. Tchaikovsky's ballet "Swan Lake". Performed leading roles in classical and contemporary ballets: Prince Siegfried, Rothbart, pas de troix ("Swan Lake"), Count Albert ("Giselle"), Romeo ("Romeo and Juliet"), Colas ("La Fille mal gardee”), Prince ("The Nutcracker"), Yusuf ("The Tale of Yusuf", first performance), Crassus ("Spartacus", first performance), Armand ("Lady of the Camellias", first performance), Prince Desiree, the Blue Bird ("Sleeping Beauty”, James (“La Sylphide”), Vizier (“Golden Horde”, first performance), Solor, The High Brahmin (“La Bayadère”), Young man (“Carmina Burana", or the "Wheel of Fortune”, first performance), Prince, Raven (“Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", first performance), Claude Frollo ("Esmeralda"), José ("Carmen Suite"), Franz ("Coppelia"), Isaac Lanquedem ("Le Corsaire"), Student ("Anyuta"), Aladdin (“A Thousand and One Nights”), Espada (“Don Quixote”), Young man (“Chopiniana”), Vision of the Rose (“The Vision of the Rose”). Concert performances: Ruishi Sakamoto “The Tunnel” (choreographed by E. Kuzmin), Jules Massenet "Leda and the Swan" (choreographed by M. Yatsevich), "Confession" to music Requiem. Part 8- Lacrimosa dies illa by Amadeus Mozart (choreographed by S. Bondur).
2012-2018 - combined his work as a ballet soloist with the position of a teacher-tutor at the M. Jalil TASOBT.
2018-2020 - Dean of the Faculty of Choreography of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.
Since January 2021 - artistic director of the "Astana Ballet” Theatre.
Awards: Laureate of the “Soul of Dance” Prize of the Ballet magazine in the “Rising Star” nomination, the only representative of the ballet art of Kazakhstan awarded such high recognition (2003).
