KAUKOV Serzhan Toktarbayevich
Biography
(02.06.1979, Alma-Ata) - ballet soloist, teacher, choreographer. Honored Figure of Kazakhstan (2013); Laureate of the State youth award "Daryn"; winner of the TURKSOU award (2010).
1990-1998 - student of the A. V. Seleznev ACS, class of U. A. Mirseidov.
2006 - graduated from the Bachelor program of the M. Auezov SKSU, specialty "Choreographer".
2021 - graduated from the Master’s program of the SUSHPU in specialty "Pedagogy of Choreography".
Being the student of the choreographic school, he began to participate in the ballet competitions. 1998 - I Prize and a Gold medal at the Vaganova-Prix International Ballet Competition; III Prize and Audience Award at the Arabesque Competition, Perm; III Prize - Bronze Medal and Masako Ohya Prize, Paris; Special Prize and Diploma of the "Maya" International Competition.
1998-1999 - leading soloist of the Abay SAOBT.
2000-2002 - danced in the troupe "Young Ballet of France" (Theatre Kiel).
2002-2006 - artist of the troupe of the Imperial Russian Ballet G. Taranda and Russian National Ballet under the direction of S. Radchenko.
2006-2013 - leading soloist of K. Baiseitova NOBT.
2013-2016 - leading soloist of the “Astana Opera” theatre. The roles in classical and national ballets, repertoire: Siegfried (“Swan Lake”), Albert (“Giselle”), Basil (“Don Quixote”), Vaslav (“The Fountain of Bakhchisarai”), The Nutcracker Prince (“The Nutcracker”), Solor ("La Bayadère"), Arystan ("Alkissa"), Narsha ("Karagoz"), Prince Desire ("Sleeping Beauty"), Colas ("La Fille mal gardee"), James ("Sylphide"), Phoebus ("Esmeralda"), Franz ("Coppelia"), Mercutio ("Romeo and Juliet"), Crassus ("Spartacus") etc.
After completing his stage career, he began teaching.
2016-2020 - taught the disciplines "Classical dance" and "Duet-classical dance" at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.
2021-2023 - choreographer of gymnastics and private ballet studios.
