Biography

One-act ballet.

Composer - Armand Amar, Bulat Gafarov. Choreography and lighting - Nikita Dmitrievsky. Libretto - Bakhyt Kairbekov, Nikita Dmitrievsky. Scenography and computer graphics - Leonid Basin. Costumes - Asya Solovyova. The artist - ornamentalist- Svetlana Ivanova.

The performance was created for the troupe of the “Astana Ballet” Theatre, the premiere took place on June 27, 2014.

Characters and performers: True soul - Nazerke Akhmet; The dark side of the soul - Zhibek Meshitbay; The bright side of the soul - Zere Ismailova; Ak Yene - Ayaulym Makumova; Peri - Riza Kanatkyzy.

Ak Yene - the Holy Mother is preparing to create a new life. Out of a thousand souls, like the leaves of the World Tree, only one will be chosen, which is ready for incarnation in the earthly world. Helpers of Ak Yene - Priestesses, travelers of the three worlds: upper, middle and lower. They guard the Tree of Life, which leaves are the Souls that wish to acquire an earthly shell. The priestesses warn them of the horrors of the life on earth, drawing terrible pictures of hunger, loneliness and suffering. However, every Soul still wants to be chosen and illuminate the world with beauty. In order to go its own way, the Soul needs to go through the trials, and this is fear, the uncertainty, the fight against the forces of evil and the army of Chaos. In these trials, the Soul earned the name Alem - the World, the Universe.
