The premiere took place on March 29 and 31, 2006 at the K. Baiseitova National Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The ballet-fairy tale, in which well-known motifs of the Kazakh folklore works are read. The Khan has two wives, the eldest is childless and the young one is beloved. When a young wife gives birth to a son, the elder wife, who is also a sorceress, decides to destroy the mother and the child, but they manage to escape to the foreign land. When Arystan grew up and became a young man, he finds his love, reunites with his father and frees everyone from the evil spells of the Sorceress. It all ends with preparations for the big wedding celebration. In the course of the action, the most famous national rituals and customs are artistically expressed in the ballet: besikke salu (first laying in the cradle), at koyu (naming), bata beru (give blessing).
