MUSSIN Rinat Iltayevich

Biography

MUSSIN Rinat Iltayevich (25.11.1961, Karaganda) - ballet dancer, teacher. Honored Artist of Kazakhstan (1996), holder of the "Kurmet" Order (2001). Laureate of the International competition "Maya-1996" in the nomination "Audience Award" (St. Petersburg, 1996).

He graduated from Almaty Choreographic School (1975-1980) on specialty "Artist of Dance Ensemble", teachers: L.M. Taganov, I.K. Olzoyeva; A.V. Lunacharsky State Institute of Theater Arts (1985-1990), Faculty of Pedagogy, specialty "The Art of Choreography", teachers: G.N. Pribylov, T.S. Tkachenko, A.A. Bogatyrev. Completed professional development courses at Moscow State Academy of Choreography (Moscow, 2014), A.Ya.Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet (St. Petersburg, 2015).

1980-2012 - leading soloist of the ballet of the State Academic Dance Theater of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He performed solo parts in productions by B.G. Ayukhanov: Tulegen ("Kyz-Zhibek", music by Y. Brusilovsky), Jose ("Carmen Suite", music by G. Bizet-R. Shchedrin), Solo ("Bolero", music by M. Ravel), Claudius (“Hamlet”, music by A. Isakova), Onegin (“Tatyana Larina”, music by P. Tchaikovsky-M. Pletnev), Onegin (“Eugene Onegin”, music by P. Tchaikovsky), Mankurt (“Mankurt”, music by N. Zakirov), Bacchus ("Walpurgis Night", music by C. Gounod, choreography by Y. Kovalev, revival by B. Ayukhanov), Rothbart ("Swan Lake", music by P. Tchaikovsky), Hooligan ("The Young Lady and The Hooligan”, music by D. Shostakovich), Jose (“Introductions and Rondo-Capriccioso”, music by C. Saint-Saens), Warrior (solo) (“Genghis Khan”, music by M. Irzhanova), Kozy-Korpesh ( “Kozy-Korpesh and Bayan-Sulu”, music by B. Yerzakovich), Svidrigailov (“Crime and Punishment”, music by D. Shostakovich), Jose, Toreador (“Feast in Seville”, music by G. Bizet), Farhad (“Seven Beauties”, music by K. Karayev), Young Man (“Dances of Sunny Kazakhstan”, music by Y. Brusilovsky), Rose (“Poem of Roses”, Adagietto by G. Mahler (Symphony No. 5), etc.

1990-2001 - teacher-tutor of the SADT RK; 2001-2005 - leading teacher-ballet master, teacher-tutor of the Opera and Ballet Theater in Izmir (Turkey); 2005-2012 - teacher-tutor of the SADT RK; 2012-2016 - Dean of the Faculty "Choreography" of the Kazakh National University of Arts (Astana); since 2016 - associate professor of the Department "Choreography Directing", "Ballet Master’s Art" of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.

In 2014 - held a master class in classical dance at the Academy of Choreography at the La Scala Theater (Milan).
